A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”  The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you , a Jew, ask a drink of me, a woman of Samaria?”  Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink.’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” The woman said to him, “Sir you have no bucket, and the well is deep.  Where do you git that living water?  Are you greater than our ancestor Jacob, who gave us the well, and with his sons and his flocks drank from?”  Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty.  The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.”  The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so tat I may never be thirsty or have to keep coming her to draw water.”

…The woman said to him, “Sir, I see that you are a prophet.  Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you say that the place where people must worship is in Jerusalem.”  Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you will worship God neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.  You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.  But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship God in spirit and truth, for God seeks such as these to be worshiped by.  God is spirit, and those who worship God must worship in spirit and truth.

From The Gospel of John 4:7-24

I share this passage from John as it speaks to and sheds light upon many of the layers of services that Grieving Hearts will be offering in the near future.  Each of the services will be about listening to the movement of God’s Spirit and finding ways of taping into and being filled with the “living water.”

Future services will include the following:

  • Spiritual Direction
    • At my home office
    • Long distance via Skype and email
  • Book Forum Discussions
  • On-line Retreats
  • On-line Classes
  • Worship Coaching
  • Liturgical Services
  • Open to suggestions
  • Labyrinth Retreats and Workshops

Once a service is ready to be offered, there will be a separate sub-page added to this page that will give a full description of what is offered, if there is a fee or not, and what you need to do to participate.  If you have taken a look at the About page, you will know that I am currently on disability and working to stabilize some health issues; so I will be adding services as I am able – but rest assured, they will be coming – and I look forward to sharing with you.

On the sidebar I will be continuing to add links to different sites that I have found helpful, and I hope you will too.

Continued blessings on the journey
